I’ve been holding and accumulating since 2019… It’s getting harder not to sell

I’ve been a big believer in Bitcoin and I’ve sold very little in the last 7 years but for whatever reason this cycle has been causing me to doubt a lot on Bitcoin’s future. It doesn’t help that cycle after cycle, Bitcoin reaches a new ATH and I never sell. It’s super frustrating when you get in your head that “if I just had sold at the top and bought back in at the bottom, I’d would had doubled my stack”… I know hindsight is 20/20 but every cycle that occurs, I always think that surely this is the cycle that breaks the pattern. I feared selling at 120k because “what if it goes to 140k, 150k, 200k”. But that didnt happen.
The cycle has to break eventually and every cycle I think, “surely this is the one the breaks” but it doesn’t.

How long til we see 200k or 300k? Am I going have to wait another 10 years? If so, it’s a hard pill to swallow when you have such high expectations for Bitcoin’s performance. This cycle felt mediocre, spent almost a year at ~60k, then several months above 100k, just for in to plummet back down to 60k.

Am I going to sell at this price? Hell no. But if it goes back to ATH, I think I’m going to sell and just hope for the best. With my luck, once I sell that’s when Bitcoin will take off to 200k.

I’m just frustrated because I really want Bitcoin to succeed but I’m starting to lose hope. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Has anyone else been having similar thoughts?
