Strike

Hello, I am new here and I have decided to use strike as my first bitcoin app for purchasing. I have watched a few videos about how to use the app, but I don't have the same options as people have in their youtube videos. I don't have that arrow sign where I can buy and sell weekly and also there is no purchasing with bank account / credit card as I see in the videos. The only option I have is to make a deposit and only then, using that deposit I can buy bitcoin. Also, am I supposed to make a bank transfer to get the money into their deposit? All of these seems very sketchy and they also use my name for the bank account I am supposed to send the money to? How does all of this work? Do I have the wrong app or something?
