Binance Flash Crash Liquidations – Low Leverage Loans Not Compensated, Only Futures/Perps. Anyone Else Affected?

On Oct 11 there was a sudden flash crash on Binance that wiped out a whole lot of accounts. I was liquidated on a 2x low-leverage mortgage position, not a high-risk futures trade yet my belongings have been immediately bought off for pennies on the greenback due to the worth spike.

Binance has released an announcement saying they'll compensate customers affected on Futures & Perpetuals, but NOT customers whose loan-backed spot positions have been liquidated, claiming “collateral was offered” which is senseless as a result of the collateral was force-sold at irregular prices in the course of the crash.
